On December 31, 2008, all videophone users will have a true 10 digit phone number with ability to transfer their phone number to different video relay services (VRS) and Internet Relay service companies. According to the FCC, VRS companies are required to incorporate the new 10 digit numering system into their system. A deaf funeral director has bought her boss, making the funeral home all hers to operate. In Vermillion, S.D., 60 miles south of Sioux Falls, Lori Kober accomplished a feat that no one like her has ever done, buying a funeral home business.
